Route Collection
Collect a round of borrowers in one sitting, in the order the doors come. For daily and weekly lending walked door to door; off for a pawn or gold-loan counter, where the borrower comes in and there is no round to walk.
Switch: Settings > Finance > Route Collection.
Where it appears
Finance shell: the Route Collection entry, beside Collect EMI. It settles the same instalments — the difference is that it walks a list instead of asking for one borrower.

- Route Collection - the round in one sheet: who is due, how much, and what was taken. The whole round, not a sample of it — every borrower with something falling due in the next seven days, however many that is.
- Collect EMI - the single-borrower path, unchanged.
- Agent Collections - a report: what each round is carrying and what it brought back. Needs View Portfolio Money.
More than one collector
Switching this on adds a Collection Agent field to a loan — the staff member whose round that borrower falls on. Fill it in and the round splits: pick a Round on the Route Collection sheet to walk just that agent’s book, or tick Unassigned to find the borrowers who are on nobody’s.
Two permissions go with it, both in Settings > Manage Users > Finance:
- Assign Collection Rounds decides who may put a borrower on an agent’s round — an agent must not be able to hand their own book on. Without it the Collection Agent field is not shown at all.
- Collect for Other Agents decides who may work somebody else’s round. Without it there is no round picker: a collector opens the sheet and sees their list.
Leave the field empty on every loan and nothing changes — the round stays one undivided list, which is right for a lender with a single collector.
