Group Classes
A timetable of classes the club runs week in week out - yoga, spin, a box's WODs - the dated runs of each, and who is on the mat. Members book a place, the desk marks who turned up, and a full class puts the next person on a waitlist rather than turning them away.
Switch: Settings > Gym > Group Classes. Permissions: Manage Plans & Lockers to edit the timetable, Check In to book a place or mark attendance.
Where it appears
Gym shell: Classes > Timetable and Classes > Class List. Report: Class Attendance.

Screens
- Timetable - the week ahead, one card per run, showing the trainer, the room and how many places are left. Tap a run for its roster.
- Class List - the templates: name, days, start time, length, capacity, room and level. This is what generates the runs.
- Roster - who is booked on one run. Mark one member present or a no-show, or mark the whole mat present in one tap at the end of the class.
Setting it up
- Add a class in Classes > Class List: the days it runs, the time, how long, and how many people fit. Leave capacity at 0 for a floor with no mat limit.
- Generate its runs for the weeks ahead. Generating the same window twice is safe - a run already on the board is left alone.
- Book members from the timetable, or from the front desk while they are standing there.
What it costs the member
Three cases, and none of them is a new kind of bill:
- Included in the membership - the default. The class costs nothing extra and simply counts as a visit.
- Sold as a pack - a block of classes is a PT package with a different name, so it uses the same prepaid block, the same balance and the same expiry.
- Drop-in - an ordinary counter sale against the class's service item, so class income lands in the normal sales reports.
Worth knowing
- A full class waitlists rather than refuses. When somebody cancels, the longest-waiting person is moved into the seat automatically.
- Capacity is fixed when the run is generated. Raising a class's capacity later does not oversell a run that has already been published; change the run itself for a one-off.
- Cancelling a run keeps its bookings. The reason stays on the board so the desk can tell members why, instead of the class quietly vanishing.
- Attendance is the same register as every other visit. A class place is a check-in, so it counts against a member's visit limit and appears in the attendance reports beside gym-floor and PT visits.
Switching it off
Turning the switch off hides the Classes menu. If runs are still ahead with people booked on them, the settings page says so before you save - the bookings are not deleted, they simply stop being reachable until the switch goes back on.
