Split Folios

Two bills on one stay: room and tax to the company, bar and minibar to the guest. A business traveller asks for this routinely, and without it the desk raises one bill and argues about the difference.

Switch: Settings > Hotel > Split Folios.

Where it appears

Hotel shell: a Folio 1 / Folio 2 choice when a charge is posted, and two settle buttons on the settlement screen once a second folio has lines.

Folio 1 bills the company when there is one; folio 2 always bills the guest. The accrued room nights follow whichever folio the stay says carries the room.

Screens

Add Folio Charge - picks the folio as the line is posted.
Folio Settlement - each folio totals and settles on its own; neither marks the other's lines billed.

Switching off. Warns at save when lines are sitting on a second folio, because only folio 1 is ever built once the feature is off. Off, every line goes on one bill.
