Kitchen Display

The kitchen works off a screen instead of a paper ticket: live orders across every table, with cooking timers and a bump per station. Off for an outlet that prints a KOT slip, or calls the order across a counter.

Switch: Settings > Restaurant > Kitchen Display.

Where it appears

Restaurant shell: the Kitchen (KDS) screen. Run it on a kitchen tablet, a second monitor or an Android TV; it reads the same table orders the captain screen writes.

The display is a view over the same orders, not a second queue — nothing routes differently when it is off.

Screens

Kitchen (KDS) - live items across tables with elapsed timers, item notes and add-ons, and one-tap bump actions per station (kitchen, bar, tandoor).

Switching off. A view over the same table orders the captain screen works — turning the screen off routes nothing differently and loses no ticket.
