Offers, Greetings & Campaigns

Send a festival wish, a new-stock offer, a holiday notice or a dues reminder to many customers at once, on WhatsApp (text and up to five images) or SMS. Pick who gets it with the contact list's filters, leave out or hand-pick single customers, schedule it for later, and watch it go out in the background.

Who can send. Only the owner's login sees Send Message, the same as Print and Export: it messages the whole customer book.

How a campaign runs

    A[Filter the customer list
group · city · district · state · route · search] --> B[⋮ Send Message] R[Or 📣 on a report
ageing · points · dues] --> C B --> C[Recipients: everyone matched
untick to leave out · or pick only a few] C --> D[Leave out opted-out customers
haven't bought in N days · top customers] D --> E[Pick WhatsApp or SMS
template · message · images] E --> F{Send now or schedule?} F -->|now| G[Campaign starts in the background] F -->|schedule| H[Waits for the date and time] H --> G G --> I[One message per customer, a few seconds apart] I --> J{Reached?} J -->|yes| K[Sent] J -->|WhatsApp / SMS phone offline| L[Retried every minute for a day] J -->|refused| M[Failed - Retry from Campaigns] L --> I K --> N[Results: sales 7 days before vs after]
The campaign is sent by the device it was made on, so it keeps going after you leave the page.

Choosing who gets it

Saved filters. On the customer list, ⋮ > Save Filters keeps the filters on screen under a name ("Chennai gold customers"); ⋮ > Saved Filters puts them back in one tap. Saved filters are kept on that device.

Scheduling

Tap Send now to pick a date and time instead - write the Diwali wish today, send it at 8 AM on the day. The device must be on, with the app open, at that time: the campaign is sent by the device it was made on.

Keeping the WhatsApp number safe

Messages go out a few seconds apart, never in a burst. If today's WhatsApp messages would pass about 200, the confirm box warns you: a personal number that sends too much in a day can be blocked by WhatsApp. Split a big list across days, and keep the opt-out list up to date.

How it sends

flowchart TD
    A[Campaign message] --> B{Channel}
    B -->|WhatsApp| C{WhatsApp route on this device}
    C -->|bot on this device| D[Sends by itself - phone must stay online]
    C -->|SKS Connect device| E[Relayed - update SKS Connect for images]
    C -->|Cloud API| F[Text only]
    B -->|SMS| G{SMS route}
    G -->|SKS Connect agent| H[One bulk request, each with its own text]
    G -->|Google Messages| I[Sent one by one]
    G -->|phone's SMS app| J[Opens one composer - reaches only the first]
Bulk sending needs a route that works unattended: the WhatsApp bot or relay, and the SMS agent or Google Messages.

Settings & permissions

Settings > Whatsapp and Settings > SMS set up the routes. The opt-out list and your own templates are saved with the business settings from the Send Message page itself. Send Message, Save Filters and the report 📣 buttons are shown to the owner's login only.
