Expense & Income Vouchers

Money that is not a sale or a purchase: rent, electricity, tea, transport, repairs on the expense side; interest received, commission earned, scrap sold on the income side. Each voucher picks a head (an Expense or Income Account), a tender and optionally a party or a project.

Where it is in the app

POS page: Vouchers > Expense and Vouchers > Income; heads under Master > More > Expense Accounts / Income Accounts. Every dedicated shell has Expense Entry in Navigation; construction and finance also show the Expense register beside it, and construction's Site Expense books to a project.

Getting this branch wrong is the most common reason a Profit and Loss looks wrong — stock bought is not an expense until it sells.
