Extras & Room Service
A running folio under the room. Food, laundry and the minibar are posted to the stay as they happen and settled once at check-out, instead of being rung up separately at a counter.
Switch: Settings > Hotel > Room Service.
Where it appears
Hotel shell: the stay screen gains a folio, with an add-charge action while the stay is unsettled. The dashboard counts the extras posted since yesterday; the check-out bill carries them as their own lines.
Where the property also runs a restaurant, this switch adds a Room Service screen as well — ordering food to a room rather than typing a charge for it. Without the restaurant there is no menu to order from, so only the add-charge action appears.

Ordering to a room
Room Service lists the rooms that have somebody in them. Pick one and the usual ordering screen opens: tap the items, and the kitchen ticket prints straight away. The order is tagged to that guest, so it goes onto their folio rather than being paid at the outlet — the meal is settled once, at check-out, with everything else.
Ordering again for the same room adds to the tab it already has instead of starting a second one, so a guest who asks for coffee and then a sandwich has one order and one ticket trail.
If the guest instead orders downstairs and asks for it to go on the room, use Charge Order on the stay screen: that collects an order the waiter already has open on a table.
Screens
- Stay detail - the folio: what has been posted, when, and by whom; add a charge while the guest is in house.
- Room Service - pick a room, punch the order, print the kitchen ticket; the lines land on that room's folio. Needs the restaurant as well.
- Check out - the bill is built from the stay: a line per room segment plus every folio line, then the ordinary invoice screen for discount and payment.
